After visiting several assisted living facilities, my husband and I moved his mom into Wentworth at end of May after her hospitalization and rehab. It was the most reasonable,beautiful and clean facility we had seen, and the residents looked truly happy and cared for. Mom made several friends with the staff and residents. The nursing staff was excellent, especially, Jean, and they always went out of their way to help her when needed. An amazing company with amazing staff.
Do NOT let your loved ones move into this horrendous place. The last 2 months have been a nightmare for my mother and the nightmare is finally over after successfully moving her to a loving home. After an initial meeting with Shay, the head of nursing, we requested a follow up after someone entered my mom's room without permission and took her medicine box. Nobody told her and nobody notified family. The result due to staffs lack of communication and compliance was that my mom didn't have 2 days of her medicine. When we broa... read more
This place is toxic due largely to poor HR decision making. The company fears getting sued by employees and therefore allow terrible staff to remain working while the great staff members quit and move on to other opportunities. If you want a happy, friendly, supportive work culture, stay away from Wentworth.
