I have arthritis in my hands. My ring finger became very swollen and stayed that way. My GP recommended Dr. Abernathie. He did not give any insight to why that particular finger is swollen. He did not even look at it. Everything he suggested, I already have been doing: heat, cold, compression gloves, hand exercises. He suggested ibuprofen. This is office is wonderful. After looking for almost 3 years for a plastic surgeon that would take my daughters 2 insurances we found Dr. Abernathie and within an hour of seeing him and the office sending the pre approval paperwork to the insurance company they both iapproved her surgery. She was sat up 3 months later. This man has magical hands.y daughter has been needing this surgery for many years and she has finally had it. If you are looking for a doctors for a breast reduction Dr. Abernathie is your physician.

My significant other has had the worst experience working w/ his staff. Lady at the front desk is very unfriendly, condescending & not helpful what so ever. I also understand the doctor is very busy but trying to get ahold of him, or even a simple answer to a question takes days if not a week before we can get a simple response. I do not feel like they actually care about their patients what so ever.
