Our story begins in 1942 when my father Frank Brennan opened a fruit stand in Monroe, Wisconsin. In the beginning, Frank purchased fruit from various locations, but he always found that he got the best produce when he personally visited farms and selected his fruit. As a result of his experience, he formed the underlying philosophy at Brennans: We Buy Direct So You Buy the Best. Local Grown and Great! Carries mainly locally grown produce and cheese. The cheese is AMAZING and it carries all the award winning cheeses that Wisconsin in known for. The produce is not found in your typical grocery store and is always fresh!
Unique local liquors and foods This market has a great selection of local wines, beers, and cheeses. They sell some beers that are brewed by the local Capital Brewery only for their store. They often have tastings of different wines and beers and always have samples of cheeses out to try. Brennans also has a great meat counter and deli as well as a large selection of high quality produce. Their prices are higher than other grocery stores, but the quality justifies the prices.
