I first met Dr. Lawall a little over 10 years ago when I went to Urgent Care with the flu. He was putting in some hours there, and I remember thinking he was friendly and approachable. Dr. Lawall is efficient and skilled at diagnosing and treating a large range of illnesses. He is patient, kind, and quick to respond to follow up questions on MyChart.

Both of my sons went to Dr. Lawall and came home saying how rude and condescending he is. I have been to him as well and he rushed the appointment and was rude. My husband has been going to him for years and after my son’s horrible appointment with him today, he will be finding a new primary as well. We all will be finding a new primary. Dr. Lawall needs a course on bedside manner.

Unfortunately on my way over to my appointment to see Dr. Lawall, I knew how I was going to be treated based on my previous appointments with him. I think it’s important that others hear how disrespected I felt during my appointment and have felt after my previous appointments with him. More importantly, I hope he sees this. I understand and respect his time, but it’s important that people and Dr. Lawall himself knows how terrible his bedside manner was towards me and other patients, particularly younger ones.
