This is a favorite place of ours, especially when we want brisket or pulled pork. In addition to great food, the service is fast and friendly.
My wife and I were in Nacogdoches only for a short while. We decided bbq was our choice for a meal. Brendyn's has excellent ribs. The bite off the bone was perfect, not soft and mushy, not tough, or rubbery. Flavor was spot on perfect smoky Flavor. Pulled pork was spot on too. We were staying in Nacogdoches and someone told us that Brendyn's has the best BBQ in Texas. After indulging, I'd be hard-pressed to find somewhere better. We sure can't get BBQ like this back in Jersey! Order inside and while there's sometimes a line, it's worth the wait. The staff was so friendly and helped me make pressure-packed decisions. What a treat! Service and atmosphere: The staff were nice and served customers fast. The restaurant is spacious enough, clean, well organised and nicely decorated. The building outside looks clean and inviting. Food: The BBQ items we ordered and tried were outstanding! Brisket and ribs were succulent and very well seasoned.
