Had surgery in 2001 lost 105lbs gained a little back but I'm very very happy I has it done
Dr Cacucci performed a Roux-en Y surgery on me on February 3, 2004, when I weighed a life threatening 363 lbs. She was so kind, compassionate and commited to helping her patients, it was very inspiring. Today, nearly 18 yrs later, I am happy to say that I am a success story! I weigh 147 lbs, and I am a healthy, very active retiree. I go to the local aquatic center Monday thru Friday at 6am, where I swim one mile, followed by an hour of exercises in the warm water therapy pool Thank you, Dr. Cacucci, for saving my life!
Caring and compassionate. Dr. Cacucci helped give me a normal life back. She found lots of scar tissue and fixed a hiatal hernia that had returned. After she fixed these issues, I no longer suffered from severe dry heaves that often woke me up in the middle of the night, or pain in my abdomen. I was sorry to hear she was no longer practicing.
Fifteen years later, many thousands of dollars more doctors than I account for and I’m still paying for it.
