I've been seeing Brenda Beard close to a year now. I have never felt so safe and comfortable with any professional in the medical field. She listens..I mean REALLY listens to me. We have had sessions when I just rant & rant for what seems like forever and she patiently waits until I'm done and she'll then try to come up with coping mechanisms to help me. Once you reach the “door”, it’s up to you whether or not you’re going to go through it. After walking through it, you’ll find them again waiting to help guide you down the “new” path. Dealing with a brain injury, that can be very scary. Sure, I’ve “fallen on my face”, a time or two. Brenda has always been there for me to help me up. I’m ... read more
