Super cool little shop. The owner has quite the collection of typewriters for sale, and apparently does a lot of repair work as well. I stopped by one day just to check it out. The owner, Paul, was happy enough to let me try out a few machines while he worked with another customer. I didn't buy one that day, but it was still nice to check out. After speaking with someone at this shop and being told they work on this type of typewriter, my husband drove over an hour to have my typewriter repaired. The carriage was not advancing, that’s the issue. Apparently when he set it down, this woman laughed in his face and they refused to even look at it. May karma give you its abundance for your immaturity, lowbrow snideness, lack of professionalism, and rudeness. That Washington hospitality just never fails.

We just bought a typewriter for our 7 year old daughter. The staff there were very helpful and they made us so welcome and they invited us to try different typewriters before we decided on one. They were also very honest and they did not push us to buy the high end typewriters. Thank you!
