Stayed the summer of 2003 & 2004. Fabulous. Carol was the sweetest. I pray her son kept it going. I dont know if Carol is still around. She was golden. Its July 12th 2026. God Jesus bless you all there. I miss that place so much. And on that bay. Wow. We went out to the island.
Brekkes is a beautiful resort on the lake. The cottage we had was charming and CLEAN. The service was impeccable (thank you, Dan). It was quiet because it's October 😀. I would recommend Brekkes to anyone looking for a nice resort in the Northwoods.
Stayed for the Tomahawk Northwoods Fall Fest. My experience was a return to the Mom and Pop Family Resorts of northern WI from my childhood days. I thought they were all gone. Cabins were clean, staff friendly, price reasonable. It's a place where families used to go every year, and I see still do, to relax and have fun on the lake without all the electronic, cell phone, computer, non- personal interaction lifestyle the world has become. Loved it.
Great resort! Clean, great location and amazing prices! We worked with Dan and he was responsive, thorough and just nice. We rented a pontoon boat for 1/2 day and he worked with us so we could dodge rain and get the best time for fishing. We will definitely be back and the boat for the price was UNBEATABLE!! Thank you!!!
