This is a SCAM! Billed me for a brace that my orthopedic doctor gave me. $250 but then shows a "discount" of $100. So, they want $150 for a brace that is identical and actually their brand for $18 to $25 available from dozens of vendors online! RIPOFF!!!!!

Nearly a year after a surgery I received a bill for something. The only reference on the bill was a hospital name. Have no idea what the bill was for. I threw it into the garbage. Breg Inc. is a crapy company if they really are a real company.

Dont ever buy any of their products!!! I was told at Drs ofc. my insurance would pay for B brace . When they didnt I called the Co. Twice before anyone would talk about the problem . Then they said to bad U owe us pay or else!! Never buy Breg!!!!

BREG: Billed me separately $250.00 for the “orthopedic product“ I received from NEXTCARE (no information was provided with the item, so I was unaware it was returnable within 30 days) It did not fit properly. This is a 400% markup for an identical item that cost $46.00 online. SOMEONE paid/or there was a bill adjustment for $200 and I still owe $49.11. Zero-stars for service, professionalism, expertise - and everything else you'd expect from a medical provider. I am a polio patient - I've had this disability since I was a year old. I have been wearing full KAFO braces since I was seven. Given insurance changes, I was sent to Arimed by Breg (Brooklyn, NY location) because it is the only one made an option to me (I am on low-income insurance). Charged $400 for a foot boot/brace that EVERY retailer sells for $40 or less online. If you want an example of the absolute fraud and abuse of American healthcare & insurance, look no further. Breg is the parasite that wants to leech every dollar from us possible. Absolute garbage company.

KG Got a BREG Polar Care Cube for recovery after surgery. 7 months later Im having more surgery so I thought great ill use the Cube again. 6 days of use later the pump motor stops working. the warranty is only 6 months but I thought id ask for some goodwill to replace the machine that one would think should have lasted at least a year. I got two NO's 1st was no it wont last a year and no there would be NO goodwill consideration. Point is don't buy from BREG if you intend to use the product beyond its wimpy 6 month warranty... read more
