Ask a $270 call out fee to provide a boiler replace quotation. Call other 5 companies, all could provide me a quote once I send the photos of the old model,pipe line and external of boiler. Avoid this mate, beause the guy just want to take your money without provide a serivce.
Prod is great, and old-school engineer who actually FIXES THINGS! I called him after another company gave me an "upgrade recommended, that'll be $400 thanks" type outcome. Within 24h he turned up, with the parts, and got us warm again. It wasn't an easy job so I can see why other repairers (and particularly the kids they send out) get lazy. But we've now got a fully functional (maybe even improved) ducted heater again that should be good for a few more years (they've only got two moving parts, after all). I contacted Peter for a second quote and I wish he was the first one i contacted. There are so many dishonest tradesman out there and if it wasn’t for Peter and his expertise i would have been out of pocket over 10k. Very good person to deal with and honest. It’s hard to find genuine people like him these days. My heating is finally working again!
