We gave them $160,000 to start on the house. It’s been a year and half and they haven’t even broken ground yet and we need a place to live SO we are trying to contact them to give us the majority of the money back and discontinue the project. It’s been 2 weeks and the owner will not return my calls or emails. I noticed his license was also expired and hasn’t been renewed and his business is also not active. I think I just got bamboozled and we are getting lawyers on this case. Fare warning to all.
