Friendly and informative staff. Good value for money with the weather an added bonus. My 9 year old loved it. Some of the vegetation on the early section could do with some cutting back, but understand it is peak growing season.
Loved this. Nice relaxing trundle up the line to the summit.
Expensive and busy. Was 28C the day we had booked and the train cars baked in the sun with little airflow. The kids loved the train but after 90 minutes of riding and being stuck at the drop off station for half an hour with no shade and the concessions line being impossibly long in a cooking greenhouse, they were all a mess of sweat, tears, and dehydration. Lovely day out and really enjoyed by our whole party
Well kept station and good facilities. Could have stayed hours to view all photos and information. Very welcoming and helpful staff. The train and coaches in beautiful condition and the scenery during the journey was amazing.
