They perform any tests you request and have a pretty good memory about patients, for that they get 2 stars. However, they don’t take the lead in a patient’s healthcare so we have to manage that on our own hence the “request for tests”, they do not advise on ways to manage issues (low iron, elevated A1C, weight, etc.). I was told to take supplements and that was all that was said (other than infusions, they advocate medication 1st), I increased my iron intake via food in addition with supplements and nearly died due to iron t... read more
