Lovely old cottage! The detail and cleanliness was of particular note. The fire inside and fire pit outside kept us entertained for hours on a cold evening. Many great walks in the area. Visit anvil rock near by if you get a chance.
How refreshing. A period cottage that doesn't come with the normal period grime and dust. I don't write reviews but as a certifiable clean freak with relatively high standards I was simply amazed by the incredible presentation of this charming place. Everything was spotless. Even the 100 year old oven (incidentally not in use so you needn't worry) looked like it was installed yesterday. Don't worry there's new modern appliances for us modern city folks. Stayed here last week with my husband. It's a gorgeous cottage in a very quiet neighbourhood. The street runs parallel to the Great Western Highway, but we couldn't hear any traffic. It's about a 5 min walk to restaurants/cafes and the Rhododendron Gardens. 5 min drive to Govetts Leap Lookout, which has amazing scenery.
