BreastScreen Victoria is an accredited part of BreastScreen Australia – the national screening program for breast cancer. We invite eligible Victorians aged 50 to 74 to have a free breast screen (mammogram) every 2 years. Breast screens can find cancers that are too small to feel. The sooner cancer is found, the more successful treatment is likely to be.

I have had 2 free breast screens done as I am 52 and had my first one done when I turned 50. I had my second one done a couple of weeks ago and my experience was vastly better this time. The lady who dealt with me this time was very proficient. She was friendly, but still very professional. I get anxious about medical tests, so need someone who has a good bedside manner.
