Reception was lovely and Jackie was informative of the process, professional and couldn’t have been nicer or more accomodating to me given it was my first time and I felt faint. She put a smile on my face and made me feel at ease. I was grateful to have a local service undertaking this painless screening but I walked out thinking I should buy the staff something for being so wonderful! I wish I could give more stars 🌟
As Australians, we are very fortunate to have free access to these health services, however my experience was not a comfortable one. I asked if I could have a gown and was told that it made it more difficult to get scans??? I am a health professional and feel we should do what we can to help make our patients feel comfortable. I am self conscious and will most probably not return for another mammogram
