Absolutely lovely staff! They were all very kind and friendly and talked me through the process
I feel like a cow being directed through to the slaughter. No choices, no consultation, just orders to march to the tune they play.
Needless to say it's an anxious experience to be invited for further testing after a routine mammogram, but I seriously cannot truly express my gratitude to everyone I encountered today. From being greeted upon entry.To my initial discussion with nurse Shanna who was absolutely amazing, to the staff who performed the mammograms and ultrasound and to the lovely lady waiting beside me giving me a handful of lollies to help with my low sugar I sincerely Thankyou all. I went to my first Breastscreen appointment Friday morning at Maroondah Hospital. I arrived 10 minutes prior to my appointment as requested and was told that as the current wait time for results is 3 weeks, it would be better to go to your gp get a referral and get it done privately. I had booked on line and received an email confirmation 4 days prior. Frustrating waste of time experience 🙄🙄
