I had a call back after my initial mammogram, for further assessment due to some tissue changes. I felt somewhat apprehensive. The staff from Genevieve at the front desk, Ange the nurse who explained the procedure, the sonographer, Fatima (I think), Emma, another nurse who took me in for ultrasound, and Pat the Dr who gave me the result (all clear) could not have been kinder or more professional. Very caring and professional people couldn’t ask for a better place to go to
I had a mammogram here today. I have mixed feelings about it. Whilst I’m grateful for a free service the lady who did my screen failed to really have much of a bedside manner or offer any instructions on how to stand, place my arms ect, just sort of grabbing them. I don’t think she meant to be so non informative but it’s not really ok. She really needs some training in how to speak to patients and offer some warmth.
