Dr. Schecter was recommended to us by our lactation consultant because our newborn wasn't latching properly. Turned out he had a significant tongue tie. Dr. Schecter was super informative and very caring in the procedure. A few days later and our son was latching and nursing!
Extremely grateful for Dr. Schecter. Both my girls had tongue and lip ties and she helped us take care of them and successfully breastfeed for over a year! Would recommend her to anyone struggling with feeding a newborn.
We saw Dr. Schecter for our daughter's tongue tie. She quickly assessed her and noted that she had both a lip and tongue tie and released both that day in the office. We were subsequently led to another room to try feeding, during which we received thorough advice regarding lactation among other things. We were referred to Dr. Schecter through our lactation consultant and we are so glad we did.
