Dr. S was exceptional! She quickly diagnosed my son and was able to correct the issue that same day. Dr. S and team were very thorough and knowledgeable. They took the time to understand every detail and spent time after the procedure reviewing the aftercare. I had questions once I was home and Dr. S was available to answer very timely. The appointment was easy to schedule and the office team was kind.
Dr. Schecter performed lip and tongue tie releases on our newborn baby. She did an excellent job with such a delicate procedure. She made us feel comfortable and well supported. We appreciated how she answered all of our questions thoroughly and followed up with us throughout the healing process to make sure all was well. If you’re looking for a professional evaluation and/or procedure for a tongue and or lip tie, I highly recommend Breastfeeding Medicine of NJ!
Highly recommend Dr. Schecter! Seeing her and her team was the best decision we made for our feeding journey. She corrected our newborn’s tongue and lip ties which made feeding feel impossible and overwhelming. After the frenectomy and under her lactation guidance and care, we’ve seen a total transformation with our baby and feel so relieved. We’re so grateful we were able to book appointments easily and saw her when we did - it made all the difference.
Dr. Schecter and her team are wonderful. They helped us navigate our son’s feeding issues. She is what you want in a doctor: smart, personable and accessible. She has been highly responsive to our questions before, during and after our appointments. We drove all the way from queens based on her reputation—and so glad we did!
Dr. Schecter changed our feeding journey with my two wee old son. Before his tongue and lip tie procedure, it would take him over an hour to finish a 3 oz bottle and feeding was so stressful for both of us. Now he finishes bottles in 15–20 minutes, can finally latch and breastfeed, and we both feel SO much better. Also, the aftercare instructions were amazing.
