Dr Schechter and her amazing team were heaven sent! She did a thorough exam and gave us all the time we needed! She is so gentle and caring, and was able to quickly assess our son and complete the procedure. She took the time to ensure he ate well after and that we understand the stretches. My baby was screaming and crying trying to breastfeed. From birth she just could not latch and stay on. Dr. Schecter saw our newborn baby girl who was almost 2 weeks old. She assessed her mouth and determined that she had tongue and lip ties. The procedure itself was very fast and we immediately switched gears to feeding and comforting baby. Dr. Schecter and her staff are amazing! They were amazing helping me as a mom of twins, both struggling with breastfeeding, be able to help them start breastfeeding successfully! She partnered with the PT that was working with my babies to ensure they were ready for a procedure and she performed the procedure seamlessly. She was then available after when I had questions. Would highly recommend to any mom trying to navigate breastfeeding!
Went here for evaluation of tongue and lip tie. Doctor is very friendly and informative. Staff was warm and welcoming. Patient and answered all my questions. Procedure was quick and post procedure care was well explained.
Dr. Schecter and her team have cared for all three of my children, revising tongue and lip ties as infants that has allowed me to successfully exclusively breastfeed. They are professional, knowledgeable, and kind and know just how stressful it is for parents of newborns and children to take this step for their babies.
