Excellent support and help for breast feeding moms The Breastfeeding Center of Ann Arbor and Barbara Robertson specifically are amazing resources for mothers looking for support in breast feeding. I had trouble with both of my children, and Barbara was willing to consult with me at my home and provided excellent support and advice. The Breastfeeding Center of Ann Arbor's support groups and classes reinforce the one-on-one help that is available and build a community of support for breast feeding moms.
Amazing Resource for New Moms I've taken classes (breastfeeding and newborn care) with Barbara and also met with her for one on one consultations. She was extremely helpful and I would highly recommend her as a lactation consultant. She helped me both in getting started with breastfeeding and when I went back to work and was pumping. The breastfeeding cafe group she runs is also wonderful resource. I would encourage any new mom to consider going to check it out.
Amazing Support! Barbara provided support and guidance through the difficult start that my son and I had breastfeeding. My son later had open heart surgery and I thought he would never nurse directly after feeding tubes, etc. Barbara gave me the confidence to reestablish a lovely nursing relationship and my son gladly breastfeed until 22 months old. I am so grateful for the service she provides! And to boot, she had a great nursing bras in store for this hard to fit mama!
Wonderful resource for new parents Barbara's weekly breastfeeding cafe was truly key to me successfully nursing my son. I received support and learned a lot of information about breastfeeding, newborns, and just about everything else related to being a new mom. I met friends and felt supported by a whole caring community of women. Barbara's knowledge of breastfeeding and her ability to help with problems is amazing. Highly recommend all her services!
