I had such a good experience here today which made having my first mammogram so much easier than anticipated! Whoever did my mammogram was a superstar, she was so friendly and I’m so thankful it was her that did it for me. She guided me through and explained each step that she was doing as well, while she was doing it. Also the woman who did my ultrasound, ally, was awesome as well. All of these women just made a nerve wrecking and humiliating experience so much easier for me Thanks ladies
I was referred here by my doctor for an ultrasound — nothing more. To say that I felt harassed during this visit would be an understatement. At no point did I feel safe, heard, or confident that the staff had my best interests in mind. In fact, the experience left me feeling quite the opposite. This was my first time going for a mammogram, I didn't know what to expect and I was nervous. I had to leave work early and I work in Brighton. Because the office is located in Danvers and it's October, Halloween traffic overflow from Salem is horrendous. It was also Friday, late afternoon. I was at the Danvers breast imaging center for one of the most difficult appointments of my life — meeting with a doctor for the first time to discuss an MRI and my breast cancer diagnosis. At that time, I was uncertain about my diagnosis and how my life would be affected. I was terrified.
