Staff is great, but waiting 24-48 hours to find out if you have cancer is insane. Especially when they used to (and most places currently do) tell you during your appointment.
My appointment was at 1130; a girl came out at 1145 to tell me that I’m early. I said, actually my appointment is at 1130. She said well it says 1230. We have had people here waiting since 11. I understand they get backed up but don’t gaslight patients into thinking their appointment time is incorrect- I had email confirmation and the front desk confirmed. Always a welcoming experience. Had an issue getting a mammo after finding a lump. My income exceeded free services and I have no insurance. After calling and emailing over 10 institutions and imaging centers.. Stamford Breast Center -TULLY- was the ONLY PLACE.. that said, just come in, we'll figure it out. Admin and imaging staff are helpful and professional. I drive from JC, and I love coming here!! My experience was so positive that I'd love to work here but there are never any openings. (Which is always a good sign) :-)
