Went with a party of 12 we arrived by boat they set up for our group very quickly. The waiter was very friendly and never wrote down anything and got all our orders correct….Impressive! The food was great.
Breakwater has amazing views of the marina and pretty good service but the food was lacking especially for the prices. The clam hushpuppies tasted like they were made from a box and didn't have even one piece of clam in them. The seared scallops were pan cooked but not seared. The fish and chips were pretty good. The lobster bisque had no lobster chunks and was overly thick with no sherry and very flour/pasty tasting. Some of the cocktails and cocktails were pretty good. I rarely write reviews but I had to on this place. I ordered the seafood medley. I never saw such a small plate for 35.00! 3 small overcooked shrimp, 3 very small scallops, 2 pieces calamari I spit out. Salmon was small as well. The only thing not overcooked was the salmon. Omg, I got this tiny piece of bread about 2 inches wide wide and 3 inches long, can you spare it. Plus they added rice to fill up the tiny plate. It is such a great place to eat. I have never been disappointed with any meals. I love eating outside near the water.
