Updating my review as we have now stayed here the second time and it won't be the last time for sure :-) Review, June 2023: We had an amazing five-day stay at Oikos in Daylesford. After falling in love with the place in June 2022, we eagerly booked our return. Anticipation built throughout the year, and when we finally arrived, our stay was just as perfect as we remembered. Oikos is sublime! Art at it’s highest form. Architectural excellence incorporating natural materials that complement the unique Australian landscape of Breakneck Gorge. We were blessed with postcard views from every room. The golden hour was pure bliss, offering up a sensational sunset that teased our senses as it lit up the western horizon. Amazing place to stay! Highly recommended!
Stayed at Oikos and this place is absolutely stunning. There are great views from every window and its honestly so cool to see the animals so close to the property. On the first night, the kangaroos were all around the property (still at a safe distance though), and on the second day there were two cows grazing near the house.
