I often go to Breakaway cycles for bits and pieces and bike maintenance. Staff are friendly, always open to providing professional advice, answer questions and work with the customer. Workmanship is great and extra care is taken to address and/or fix things to get the bike running smoothly. They tend to be quite busy, book in advance for services or upgrades that could take longer.

I purchased a bicycle from this shop, which came with a free service within three months. When I brought my bike in for servicing, I expected at least the basic maintenance to be done. However, when I picked it up, I quickly realized that nothing had been touched—not even inflating the tires! None of the issues I mentioned were addressed, and it was clear the shop had simply kept my bike for a while and handed it back as if they had worked on it.
