I did my research on nursing homes before choosing this one for our loved one. The reviews and the website for Brazos Healthcare were about as misleading as they come. I highly recommend that you visit this place prior to making your decision as it looks absolutely nothing like the website shows. It is dirty, the smell is awful and the staff was as cold as they come. The living conditions were awful. There is no additional seating for family members if you visit. Brazos Healthcare has an amazing therapy team. Time and time again patients have came in a wheelchair and left walking out the front door back to independence. All of the departments work together as a team to make sure residents get the best care available.

The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and willing to help. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and has a warm, inviting atmosphere. It’s clear they take pride in providing excellent care and keeping everything in great condition. I highly recommend this facility!

Kristi Lawson was very informative from the time I walked in she made me feel very comfortable and showed me all around and introduced me to a few people… I left there not in tears as we are making big changes that have not come easy to our family… she continues to reach out weekly to check in.. making sure if we need anything just let her know. I think we will have a long standing relationship as my husband transitions into long term care.
