Horrific experience as first time customer of Bray and Scarff.   All online with Merelen 2-1-22 and she seemed more desperate to make a sale than help a new customer.  She failed to send out a professional to measure the space and I replied to all her requests for measurements as best that I could. Washer/Dryer unit delivered 2-14-22 was huge and could not fit in the space without destroying the cabinet above.  Delivery staff damaged the folding door to the pantry and scrapped a newly painted wall.  This monstrosity of an a... read more

NEVER EVER EVER shop here. Filed formal complaint April 1, 2021 with the Better Business Bureau. Purchased a new GE Profile range from Bray and Scarff (B&S) in June 2019 and also purchased the 5 year extended warranty. The range never heated properly from the start. 12/20/19 - Bray and Scarff technician arrived to the service appt to check the temperature of a range that was malfunctioning but DID NOT bring a thermometer with him. 12/31/19 - another tech came and said he only saw variation in temp of -10 degrees. We have remodeled 4 kitchens over the 20 years we have lived in the DMV and the 3 previous remodels we had used Bray & Scarff/Bethesda(B&S) to purchase our appliances. This last set of appliances(Arlington location) has been nothing less than a nightmare!! On 7/19/20 we purchased a new KitchenAid fridge & dishwasher(first steps in the remodel). The appliances were delivered on 8/11/20 where the installer said he could not install the dishwasher because the opening in the cabinet was not big enough. He was able to remove the ... read more

I purchased a wall oven at Bray&Scarf in Bethesda. In the nine months since it was installed it has broken down three times, not functioing for four out of the nine months. Bray&Scarf does nothing to repari or replace the unit. They send me of to deal with GE Customer service (none existant). There is absolutely no reason to buy anthing from Bray&Scarf as there is zero after sales service or help when the appliacne breaks. We purchased a new refrigerator with the assistance from Dylan and completed the purchase process with Luis. We are really happy with the professional, expertise, and courteous service received. Regarding the delivery, the service was performed efficiently by polite people. We had a slight issue with the ice maker hookup which Dylan resolved after we contacted him. We intend to contact Bray & Scarff with our next purchase.
