If I were shot in their parking lot, I'd go somewhere else for treatment!! My 90-year-old mother was transported there in January for seriously high blood pressure about 11 pm. The "doctor" there basically fabricated the report that she sent to the heart specialist, blaming my MOTHER for not having taken her pills!! THAT didn't happen and the conversation that the "doctor" reported to Mom's cardiologist NEVER happened the way it was reported! Mom knows EXACTLY what she takes and why and she takes her meds. I’ve been fighting cellulitis I picked up at that beach 8 weeks ago. The ER in Inverness didn’t take it seriously at all, kicked me out the door. I felt like I was treated here and my condition was taken seriously. So thank you for helping me.
Unfortunately, I need to post this. While for six hours this emergency center had no problem, giving me all kinds of tests for vertigo, now that I am home and trying to get further treatment, neither me or my doctor are able to contact this place to retrieve my records from my visit. I have spent many hours trying to contact a human being there. I was provided discharge papers with phone numbers that do not work and I have called around other facilities nearby and the phone numbers they give me don’t work.I would drive there... read more
Terrible experience just to get an xray (ankle). We kept seeing other patients who came in after us get treated & released, while we were stuck behind a curtain without a single staff person acknowledging us for OVER 2 HOURS. After making a complaint the xray tech finally showed up. To add insult to injury, the incompetent front desk girl sent our new prescriptions to a pharmacy in Pennsylvania- even though we informed her our pharmacy was in Beverly Hills, Florida.
Sat three hours in a hallway with my fiances broken foot that was bleeding . Mind you there was multiple beds open and clean . Also made an elderly man with a foot injury sit in the hall too. For an emergency room , this place is a joke. I wouldn’t recommend going here for something as small as a nosebleed. Nurses at the nurses station just joking around and on their phones. If the hospital was busy I would understand for not having the best service . But this experience was ridiculous
