I am a huge fan of TGH in TAMPA. The outpatient surgery dept of TGH B'ville is also very good. However, stay away from the ER @ TGH B'ville. The quality of care is abysmal. Staff does not listen to current pertinent healthcare info from the patients or the patient's proxy. They run unneeded tests and order unneeded procedures simply to pad the bill. Don’t go here very bad service This was the second very bad experience I had in this ER the first time I developed a giant bruise on my wast it was about 10 by 24 inches wide I was told by a nurse after telling the doctor the concerns and having a mri there were no problems and was being discharged I was never told the cause other than possibly caused by caugh.
