For a hotel restaurant we were impressed with the fish and chips. It turns out the fish is battered in house and they make their own coleslaw slaw too. Possibility the best French fries I ever had.
They have a really good happy hour menu. Not just small appetizers. Full meals... Don't know her name but the bartender there is the BEST! She's so nice, funny and one of the main reasons we go there, especially before seeing a movie at Cinerama. They serve really good old fashions.
We went for happy hour which is only served in a small hidden alcove to the right of the bar in the back of the restaurant. We arrived at 4:40 and ordered drinks. However, with the happy hour only active until 5pm, we wanted to place an order for food in time for the special menu and prices. Our server kept walking by, repeatedly saying she'd be back in a minute. She them prioritized folks at the bar four times in a row.
