My wife and I were very pleased with our stay for our first trip to Stowe to celebrate my birthday. The proximity to downtown Stowe, amazing views, relaxing hot tub, comfortable beds, and dedicated staff all made our stay at the Brass Lantern Inn enjoyable from start to finish. I would also like to give a special thanks to Don for singing to me at breakfast on my birthday. We will definitely be staying here again for our next trip to Stowe.
Great location in a peaceful and quiet setting with beautiful mountain views. The property feels relaxing and secluded, yet the main area of Stowe is only about a 15-minute walk or a quick two-minute drive away. Don is a wonderful host who is friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The breakfast is excellent, with delicious options to start the day. The dining area is especially enjoyable, offering lovely views of the surrounding mountains while you eat. We had a great stay and would gladly return on a future visit to Stowe.
Great location, very quiet with beautiful views. The Stowe main area is about 15 minute walk or two minute drive. The host Don is very nice and the breakfast is excellent and dining area is nice views of the mountains.
We had such a relaxing time here! Great breakfast, super cozy common areas with fireplace, hot tub on deck... loved it! Owners are so quick to respond and accommodating. It was like the best of both worlds of a hotel and house rental 👌 😌
Everything about the Brass Lantern Inn was warm and welcoming, especially its inn keepers. We really enjoyed our 3 nights there. The inn is well appointed with interesting books, art work and comfy furniture. There were amenities that made it feel luxurious - super fluffy towels, fine toiletries, excellent mattress, bedside chocolates. Apres ski hot tub was most welcome. Breakfast was over the top good which included locally sourced ingredients - syrup, cider, cheese…. So good. Skiing at Stowe was great, too.
