I brought my dog to the vet because he suddenly developed a sore foot and was limping, clearly in pain. Dr. Christine Tuma examined him and recommended an X-ray of his foot for further analysis. However, she was more concerned about his significantly swollen lymph nodes in his hind leg area. She repeatedly inquired if he had been exposed to ticks, suggesting the possibility of Lyme disease and hinting that his condition might be more serious than just a sore foot. Very compassionate on the phone and very good pricing dreading the visit but its for the best thank-you all at McHenry pet hospital
Brought my dog here because she had a watery eyes, sneezing, bad, nasal congestion I had called everywhere. Almost everywhere wanted a blood screen pulmonary x-ray here they did not pressure me for all that. She has always been a healthy dog with $110 walked out the door with medicine and no pressure. She’s back to being healthy again. This place is great. Super nice people will be back if my dog ever gets sick again.
