Depression had me checked out of life and struggling. Thanks to Dr. Castro and TMS I am back in the game, feeling more like myself than I have in years. I was diagnosed with depression and PTSD many years ago. I went through and continue to the common medications and talk therapies. I and my doctors had felt I had really plateaued and needed something else and I was not real interested in more medications. That's when I heard about TMS. I had been taking Lexapro for about 10 years for anxiety but my previous psychiatrist thought I didn't need it anymore and in November of 2023 she took me off it. I had never had depression, but coming off Lexapro precipitated a bad bout of depression although the anxiety didn't come back in the same way I had experienced it. I have been seeing Dr. Jack Castro at Brandywine Valley TMS for several years. Initially, I was sad to see my original Doctor retire. Dr Castro has provided me such excellent service and care that I feel grateful things have worked out this way. Dr Castro is professional and kind. We discuss what is at hand, but also topics of interest to us both. He is my Doctor and he’s also a friend. I highly recommend this man.
