I had a 1PM appointment and live 38 minutes away. I arrived at 1:07 due to funeral traffic. I was acknowledge at 1:11 and told I will have to re schedule. There were still 2 patient before me being seen so it’s logical to say I would still be waiting. There was no empathy, I expressed the pain I was in, distance and unexpected traffic. In these days it work and life balance is difficult. It is very hard to leave work. I will be changing providers.
I have been a patient at BMA for approximately 30yrs. I started with Dr. Hocutt and I'm ending with Dr. Pasquale Fucci. I waited for over 30 minutes but that isn't the issue. Moments before Fucci entered the exam room. I heard him loudly tell his staff that he was extremely angry about having to do physicals. When he opened the door to see me (there for a physical). Staff is always rude. You're just a number. Theyre in in your pocket for copay before you can let them know your symptoms. Typical greed driven healthcare.
Today was my first day there as a new patient. Everyone was so nice on the phone and in person.
