Wow Exactly what i expext from sleez mechanics I read these reviews myself and they seemed to have really good reviews which generally are pretty accurate. They seemed to be helpful, kind and big on customer satisfaction. However my experience.... I went to their website and found that they offered a free diagnostic check, so I called up and made sure they weren't too busy for me to come down. Slow but good so far We recently needed the transmission replaced on our 10 year old car. We took it to Brandon Transmission and gave them a week and a half to do it. We really needed it completed by a certain day. They took an extra day, and we were a little frustrated about it because they didn't start work on it until a day before our deadline. However they did a good job and offered us a good deal.
Very Good work I had the transmission replaced on our truck about 6 mths ago. My truck is running great now. They were very friendly and easy to deal with on my repairs.
Gets you in the door, then he's got ya I called and asked specific questions and asked for a worst case scenario price. I was told a range which included a complete rebuild with upgrades. I brought the truck to him, the next day he took it apart and called me with a price that exceeded the high end of the range he gave me the day before. BY $500.00!!!!! DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!! My 19 year old son brought his car (manual transmission) here because his engine would rev sometimes while shifting and he thought it might be the transmission, they drove it for a couple of minutes & told him he needed a new flywheel & new clutch ($2300). We decided to get a second quote, so glad we did, the second place drove it with my son in the car and, after a bit, told him there was nothing wrong with the transmission and that the revving can be normal with manual transmissions. I got an oil change at quick lube location near Brandon Transmission on Feb 1, 2014. When I went to leave my transmission was not going into second gear. I returned to quick lube location who test drove it but did not open hood or place on the rack to inspect it. Not wishing to ruin the transmission on my 2008 honda with only 100k on it, I drove it a block and parked it at Brandon Transmission. I left a note and my key in the night box.
