If you are thinking about going to Brandon Hospital. Think again. I gave it one star because it wouldn't let me rate it zero.

My mother was in a bad car accident on March 9th 2012 and was rushed to brandon hospital. NEVER have i experienced worse service. 1) the ambulance took their time getting her to the hospital (25 minutes to go 10 miles) (I arrived before they did). 2) the hospital staff said they would let me know when she arrived and they did not which caused her to be alone after a very traumatic incident for at least 30 min. 3) She was profusely bleeding from her face and no one gave her so much as a napkin to slow the bleeding until I ask... read more

Over the past year i have had 3 occasions to be admitted to Brandon Hospital. Yes you may get a staff member who is rude and underserving any accolades but the major problem at Brandon hospital as I see it lies at the fault of upper management. Brandon Hospital is a for profit business. There staff of doctors and nurses are some of the best but they have little help doing the task beneath the diginity of their profession. They have very few nurse aids and transport personnel. The lower echelon staff has been cut to the bone ... read more

My son was born at 28 weeks. Delivered by emergency c-section. He was 2 lbs 2.5 ounces. Delivery date Jan 18 2006 discharge date from NICU March 27th 2006. His first Valentines Day was spent in his "home" an incubator being provided with lots of love from the WHOLE staff. AJ is know 4 years old 36 pounds. I would not recommend Brandon Regional Hospital to anyone. I inadvertently arrived at the emergency department with labor pains and was told by the front desk that I was not suppose to be there. When my husband asked where are we suppose to be...we were rudely told that we needed to be in the "womens center." When my husband said we didn't know that...the front desk clerk said "well now you know." I was not offered to be wheel chaired to the women center; therefore, I had to walk while having contractions. The nurses were gr... read more
