So sad to see majority of this young people choosing a medical career only for the fact of money and not cause they care about people . I am a medical assistant and I do care about patients , if I see someone in pain I will respond right away, that’s call humanity . There bad and only care about money more them they care about them self's.
This place is awful. It's afternoon and we have yet to even see a doctor much less talk to one. The DR wouldn't even call the nurses back about the diet so it's know wonder their missing in action as well. Worst service I've ever witnessed!
Awful - This faculty has very poor all the way around. I get emotionally upset every time my family member has to go there because it is the closest hospital to her home. This applies to so many others as well and the board really needs to step back and go over their facility and make some changes. Loved ones are not being cared for properly and if they are not already I foresee them having a lot of legal issues.
Up until last night was fine ....still don't feel well severe cough caused wicked headache and ribcage pain.I'm not a button pusher and until yesterday had not asked for anything for pain. 230 am asked was half hour too soon I finally dozed off woke at 4 have been asking for meds since....cna kept saying ill get her at 720 on was told she had just been told b.s. ......but at this point 4 hours later medicine is no longer available. I came to Tampa on vacation and was rushed to the ER by ambulance. All the doctors, nurses, technicians and everyone I came in contact with have been amazing and I received the best care my entire week I spent there. ICU and A2PCU floor I applaud you for the great services that you rendered. I thank God for each of you. Even Nurse Margaret who wasn't my nurse, took care of me as if she was. On the evening of June 15, I brought my daughter to Brandon Regional Hospital ER due to a severe allergic reaction. After calling her pediatricians office and speaking to the Dr on call, he advised she be taken immediately to the ER because she was covered head to toe in hives and he was concerned the reaction would affect her breathing. We had already given her Benadryl with little relief so her pedi told me she likely needed a steroid as well as needed to be checked that he...Continue Reading
On 4/6/18 I had cervical spinal cord decompression surgery at Brandon Regional Hospital. Dr. Henkin performed the surgery. I was registered and admitted to Tower A. My husband and I were very happy with our entire experience at BRH. The registration and pre-op appt went smoothly and on surgery day the check in process was also smooth. I especially liked that BRH is set up that where you park isn't an insane distance from where you are going in the Hospital. I went in because I could not breathe. I waited more than three hours in the waiting room. Then I was admitted and told I had blood clots in my lungs. That was not true. They gave me a CT scan but the guy was more interested in hitting on the girl behind the glass than doing what he was supposed to do for me. He injected the die too late and I ended up having to stay the night in the hospital waiting on a doctor to approve me to leave.
