Dr Hood is a very skilled intense excellent surgeon. He is kind, thorough and a great communicator. I can’t say I like all of IU protocols, but the care delivered by Dr Hood, his staff and the Physical Therapists during my knee replacement has been outstanding. At 1st, I had a bit of a bad attitude about their pre-knee replacement protocols and program dictates-but I can now see, support and commend the program and rigors of it all as being exactly what is best for the best outcome. Dr Hood is an extremely great doctor. I would recommend Dr Hood to anyone who could benefit from his care. However the staff and office manager is very rude and unfriendly I would avoid them at all costs.
My one year check-up for my hip replacement went very smoothly. Questionnaire, x-rays and a pleasant visit with Dr. Hood made fir a nice afternoon. My new hip is perfecy‼️
I have a brittle bone disease called osteogenesis Imperfecta and was very scared to have a total knee replacement that I very much needed. Dr. Brandon R. Hood. MD was absolutely amazing in taking all measures to make me feel safe and to have all the back up plans right there to access if needed, if it didn’t go as planned due to my brittle bones!
