After having the suggested MRI, I had a nurse call me with results saying it has to do with your old surgery. Continue with therapy and with your pain management doctor. Zane Grimes (Physicians assistant) does not need to see you. Well, that upset me because I think he should have at least called me back in, sat down with me, explain the MRI and and maybe some suggestions as to what or where I could go from here. Dr. Evans is, by far, the BEST neurosurgeon our family has met, to date. He is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate & very kind to both patients & their families. The staff at the outpatient neurosurgery clinic is exceptional as well. WRMC has “World Class” neurosurgery care. The same can be said for the emergency room at Washington Regional.
If I could put down zero stars I would. Dr. Evans is by far one of the worst mannered doctors I’ve come across. My wife came to him looking for help and what she got in return was an hour long appointment consisting of rude demeanor and an unhelpful attitude. Highly recommend to seek help from another doctor who shows that they care.
Very disappointed in my appointment with Dr. Evans. He seemed annoyed with my questions and talked down to me and was rude. I’m getting a second opinion because of the lack of treatment options and lack of answers he offered. I would not recommend going to him.
