I was in the hospital last spring with a gastric bleed . After 6 pts of blood a doctor on the floor came in and said there was nothing more they could do. Dr Konkel appeared and said not so fast . Ordered a special Thermo scan found an additional bleeder and had it taken care of. Dr Konkel saved my life . I have yet to figured a way to express my thanks and admiration for his expertise and willingness not to give up on me. I have nothing but thankfulness and praise for Dr Konkel and would highly recommend him to any one.
Worst experience of my life at this practice. Out of the many doctors I had to see being so ill, Dr. Konkel is the absolute worst, the most Unprofessional, cruel & dismissive Dr I have ever met to date. I had a hard lump in my neck that was felt by my PCP and 2 other Dr’s who sent me there. Dr Konkel literally poked me in the neck with his finger and said “I don’t feel anything” failing to properly examine me, it was completely shocking how he behaved and just poked me in the neck! Dr. Konkel was fantastic!! I will miss him at FL cancer as he went to SMH as an oncologist!!! He’s great !!!
