This is the first I have been able to get my sugars under control. He is very encouraging and takes a real interest in helping.
I have been seeing endocrinologists for more than 30 years and I have never had HALF as good an endo--or any other kind of doctor--as Dr. Barthel. Dr. Barthel is my favorite doctor and I see many doctors. He sits and listens patiently and addresses any concerns I have. He is my friend and you don’t find that in many doctors. I will follow him wherever he goes!!
The misogyny and contempt for cis-gender women who don't weigh 400 lbs but have ordinary endocrine problems was palpable and stated. He let me know he had "no time for the problems of Cis-gender women." If you like being abused by an arrogant doctor who hates women, he's your man.
