I cant believe this place is still around. I was here almost 20 years ago. I am now a sober member of Alcoholics anonymous and life is wonderful. I wish I could go back and talk to myself during this time in my life. Recovery is a life second to none!
Run..away if you want to get clean and healed clearly not the place the rooms are filthy and HOT..so much going on...5hrs to even start the intake process..spoke with intake over the phone twice before nothing like what I was told. LADIES at the front desk only the most professional. Heard intake tell a patient to shower and put the same clothing back on...then proceeded to assign the patient the same room I refused to take as I left the building. This place helped me in so many ways thank you staff.
I was there bout 7yrs ago, mandated by my probation judge for a vop.. judge made me do 42 days cook county time and released to Brandon house..and I was on the methadone program, county jail detox Mr down against my will. I'm also on psych meds as well. I get there all the way out in South suburbs, and was dropped upon entry, which I took a Tylenol 3 from my property.im getting intaked and it's like 85%, of the ppl on the methadone program. 1st day I couldn't get medicated.
