This company refuses to apply my payments correctly! I have filed 2 complaints with the ************************* and the next stop is getting a consumer attorney per the ***** My first payment with this company came due on December 1st of 2022. I paid it in full and it was credited to my account on November 30th. I would leave zero stars if the system permitted. This is the absolutely worst mortgage company. Every single month, I have to call and ask why have you credited my payment? It shows that the check was cashed, but you have not credited it.They change their billing address on whims and then tell you it was changed after they send out the statement with the old address. Very poor customer service, writer received contradicting answers by different departments, not providing enough clarification on escrow shortage payment
Literally every single interaction with this financial institution since obtaining my mortgage through them two years ago has resulted in ineptitude. They made a mistake on how to pay my property taxes off the start, and for the second year in a row, have failed to make the changes I have requested, (even after submitting all paperwork as requested and required). I am considering a public, national class action law suit. I have caught Towne Mortgage intentionally making customers payments late so they can charge fees and not let anyone loan be bought. How they do this is they give you a confirmation number, they tell you it goes through but they from their side never pull the payment or even attempt to pull funds. My experience with Towne Mortgage was extraordinary. Laura served as my mortgage preparer. She answered any and all questions I had as a went through the process of purchasing my home. She made it easy and accessible for me to submit paperwork throughout the process. I was a wonderfully capable hands. I would recommend Towne to others in a heartbeat!
I would recommend to anyone looking to purchase a home. They worked together very well with everyone assisting me throughout this process and it was very simple and a significantly less stressful experience than I expected. They are very good at covering their "behinds", as well as yours. The team that helped me worked to get me the best possible rates, and explored any "break" applicable. I feel as if everyone involved worked to put my needs as a consumer as a top priority.

Towne Mortgage was great about meeting my need and answering all of my questions. If Leonard didn’t know, he made sure to find out. He was also quick to get back with me and walked me through every step of the process multiple times. I also like the fact that they are competitive and are willing to give you the best rate they can. The only issue I had and reason why I didn’t give five stars was because I at time got overwhelmed with all the calls and push to make a decision. Overall, I would work with them again.
