A school bus, insured by National Interstate Insurance Company, hit my car while I was at a complete stop. It's been over a week and nothing has happened. I reported it to NIIC hours after the incident. I have a car that can not be driven and no rental car. Over a week is an unacceptable amount of time for an insurance company to drag their feet in this situation.
National Insurance is by far below standard. I would highly not recommend them to anyone. They will bully you to the point where you have to hire attorneys just to get them to pay for the damages caused by their insured party.
I WAS INJURED DECEMBER 17, 2017 & I've been rolled over, pushed back, ignored, etc...red tape bullcrap has delayed my treatment and recovery to no end!😣😣😣
Hit by one of their insured a week ago. He was ticketed at the scene. They have been "investigating" for a week now. Trying to get calls answered or returned is extremely difficult. The first adjuster did nothing...the second has outright lied to me to try to get me to say it is my fault (he had a stop sign-in didn't). They continue to stall and refuse to do anything while I am having to pay for a rental because my car is not drivable. Worst insurance company ever.

I don't know how they treat the folks that purchase insurance through them. My daughter was in an accident caused by one of their insured and its been crazy trying to talk to the adjuster assigned to her claim. When we call we have to leave messages with no return calls. Totally disappointing, been going on for a week.
