The furniture looks great, breaks after a few weeks. They wont fix it. Also after I financed some furniture and paid it off 2yrs ago they sent a bill recently for $2000...for something I paid for.....in full...2 yrs ago. Dont say no one warned you....IJS
mshel. When I read your review I thought that I must have already written one. Your Experience has been the same as my families. Refusal to Follow through on their promises. Definitely not a Fine piece of furniture. They say we will call you back tomorrow and months will go by and they never respond. Our next step will be contacting 7 on your side and maybe just hang out at the store some weekend. Then I can greet all the customers and share with them the experience we have had. I don't want to even give them 1 star.
I purchased $2,600 in living room furniture. 4 pieces. 2 pieces arrived very used and one piece arrived very broken, and very used. My hardwood floors were just refinished and a nail sticking out of one piece put in a deep scratch on my floor. I called them. Nicki called back, kept making promises. She actually had the nerve to tell me that I should just put something over the scratch to hide it. I'm not sure what kind of house Nicki lives in but that doesn't cut it in my house. Hanks has refused to follow through on their promIses to repair my sofa. I've lost count of the number of emails and phone calls I've sent trying to Get this taken care of. At this point I have this large pile of leather at my house where the serviceman came but left without repairing it. Don't shop there.
06/14/12 • Awesome Job I had a great manager over sales that sold me a nice 10 year warranty mattress. The manager of Hank's was so nice and caring. He went over the time frame of making sure I was pleased. I will always shop at this Hank's store.It seems like family the way I was treated. No one ever treated me this way before.This manager made sure my items were delivered on time,till he delivered them himself before all elevators at my apartment were shut down. 03/24/12 • Great Experience with Kate at Hank's My husband and I came in Friday just to look around, and were greeted by Kate. She let us wander, but was close enough if we had questions. 6/6/12 • Magificent Customer Service We had 3 full days of shopping for a mattress set at several stores for my 80 + yr. old mother in law. My daughter suggested Hanks Fine Furniture. We were greeted by a salesman by the name of Phillip. He was patient and courteous with my mother in law allowing her to lie on each mattress several times. Up and down, I don't like this one. the best store in the area,,,HUGE,,,,selection. We were greeted by Frank Zimmerman, He was fantastic...let us shop without hounding us. But when we needed him he was there, very helpful and experienced. They work on a straight commission so ask for him when you go there. Awesome experience... .
