Recently, My Ford Escape needed a brake fuel pump. The part was extremely hard to find. I did my own research as well as calling other auto repair stores and the Ford dealership, with no luck! Fortunately, I went to Brakeway in Elizabethtown. Jeff and his crew went beyond the call of duty by finding the part, replacing it promptly, and at a reasonable price. I HIGHLY recommend Brakeway! Jeff was very friendly and HONEST! I went there convinced I needed new brakes--but it turns out I didn't it was just a plate making the screeching noise. Jeff took me back and showed me exactly what was causing the problem. I didn't have to pay a cent. I will definitely go back when I do need brakes--after this experience, I completely trust Jeff & his company!!
The guys in here were pretty rad. Not too talkative but seemed to know what they were doing. Got my brakes replaced for under a hundred bucks, tax included. A week later everything's still fine.
My gf's brakes were beyond screeching, they were rumbling and squealing and begging for death. But luckily, the dudes here were able to install new brake pads and rotors, and didn't overcharge us for the work at all. Good service and honest work? Worth the trip.
So far I've only had one experience with Brakeway, but it was just about perfect. Rubin, the manager, is friendly and attentive and the price was far lower than anywhere else. All I needed was a simple brake job -- pretty basic, but I will definitely be back the next time I need any work done.
I take my car here whenever it needs to get fixed brake-wise, and have been for a few years. This is the only auto repair shop I have found to not screw you over. I had problems with my brakes and thought that I needed a new pair expecting to pay a couple hundred dollars. They tell me that my rear brakes are fine, just need to replace the fronts.
