About 6 months ago, I took my car here for an oil change and I asked them to rotate the tires at the same time. $40 with synthetic oil. Sweet. The next time my oil change was due, I did it myself (yes, I'm a girl and I know how to change my own oil). I did not rotate my tires. Then yesterday, I got a flat tire. Brake Specialists Total Car Care Rip Off Austin -Hutto Texas We had the unfortunately had used Brake Specialists in Austin & Round Rock & Hutto Texas to try to maintain our fleet and they destroyed our fleet within 6-month period and charged us over 24k they would repair something supposedly and as soon as we would try to run the vehicles they would either break down because of the same reason they had improperly fixed or we would take it back and they would charge us additional fees and say something else needs work we did ... read more

Great service. Very professional.
I came in to get my brakes fixed. I walked in the guy at the counter did not have good customer service at all. I feel like I got ripped off completely. Apparently from what I have read they do this a lot. Avoid this location! Very persistent to make a sale.
I would have never given this place even 1 star, but had no choice. Never go to this place. My car overheated while I was visitng family in Lakeway from Houston. I left it with my parents and they took it to Brake Specialist Plus. The next weekend I can back to get my car, wasn't even 20 minutes away from family when it started to get hot. My husband, who is a mechanice (but wasn't with me the first visit) pulled over and let it cool down. Technicians were fraternizing with each other instead of working. The entire shop was working on one hot rod instead of working efficiently like they're paid to do. This is the last time I have service performed here.
BEWARE of the company. They do not treat their loyal employees right so just imagine how they must treat their customers!
