Had my older Dakota truck checked out, had been hearing a humming sound for a little while and thought it was a wheel bearing going bad until my brakes started grinding metal on metal on my way to work then I knew for sure what it was. Called brake masters they were very helpful. However as much as I appreciate the free brake inspection, over $1250 for just front brakes, rotors and calipers is absolutely insane. Parts come out to a fourth of the cost making labor rate like $800. Great for free brake inspection though
If I could give 0 stars I would. I made an appointment for 9 am, didn’t leave till after 11. All I wanted was to get an inspection done on my brakes. When I get there, two people were at the front desk, the lady is on the phone dealing with a customer, but the guy starts to help me, but he’s in training so it takes awhile for him to check me in I guess. They claimed to have had their best alignment technician do the alignment on my vehicle, but after the alignment my vehicle kept pulling to one direction. They had me return to check it and claimed to have fixed it. Then they said they didn’t warranty the alignment. I discovered that the ball joints needed replacing which prevented the alignment from being done properly. This shop doesn’t do a basic check to find out why it’s out of alignment. Decent priced. IL say and fixed my locomotive brakes .
Was having issues with braking pedal occasionally pushing to the floor. Though the system had been upgraded previously with good parts it needed to be bled and flushed and Brakemasters went through and cleared the problems. Well done.
