Prior to going to Brain Core Neurofeedback of CT I had high anxiety, wasn’t sleeping well and could only focus on tasks for short periods of time before becoming distracted. I brought my 14 year old daughter on a referral from another parent at our Church, Saint Mary's in Greenwich, who said this program worked miracles for her son for more focused schoolwork and a calming of oppositional behaviors at school and home. On this Thanksgiving, I would like to say my heartfelt thanks to Dr. Wil and Dr. Julia at this practice for helping my 5-year old son. My son, who is in Kindergarten, has a bad habit of running out of the classroom whenever he is feeling overwhelmed. It takes a while for the teachers to persuade him to go back to class. This program has helped my son immensely. He is a 9 year old boy who has trouble with focus, paying attention, emotional regulation and even remembering simple everyday tasks. He’s been receiving services in school since 1st grade such as Speech therapy, Occupational therapy and reading/math help.
